As well as supporting Dutch local and central governments dealing with complex European issues and helping to ‘Europeanise’ organisations wanting to expand their presence in Brussels, our EU team performs assignments for the EU institutions on a range of themes.
You’ll be at the heart of our EU advice team. Berenschot works for all levels of government (central, provincial, regional and municipal) in the Dutch public administration. We also perform assignments directly for EU institutions under various framework contracts or tenders and support cross-border collaboration. In Brussels we focus on the following key themes and competencies:
You’ll use your existing network to help Berenschot gain footholds in Brussels, including with the institutions and with organisations focusing on the European Union. You’ll lead various consultancy and research projects with a European dimension and help build international consortia equipped to bid for tenders. All with the aim of winning and performing EU contracts and building Berenschot’s reputation at an EU level.
You’ll join Berenschot’s EU small core advice team of highly educated, dynamic and hard-working professionals focusing on the EU and around ten consultants working in various specialised fields and devoting some of their time and expertise to specific EU projects. The ambition is that the team will grow in the near future, also on the basis of your contribution.

We work from home and from our offices in Utrecht and Brussels.
