Chemists satisfied with the labour market position
Chemists and life scientists have nothing to complain about according to the results of the 2016 salary survey carried out by Berenschot in cooperation with professional association KNCV and its members’ magazine C2W. The majority of respondents receive more salary, many find a job immediately after graduating and are more positive about the labour market than last year.
“A quarter of respondents are looking for another job, which is a similar figure compared to previous years,” according to Hans van der Spek, Manager Knowledge Centre HCM at Berenschot and responsible for this survey. “Almost 60%, however, will only switch jobs in exchange for a permanent contract.”
