News: Dutch Economic Trade Mission to SA
House of the Future in Johannesburg and Garden of the Future in Cape Town are two events, stimulating and celebrating cooperation between South Africa and the Netherlands.
How can we #cocreateSA
The events take place during the official visit of Dutch Prime Minister Rutte, Dutch Minister of Agriculture Dijksma and the economic trade mission in November 2015 and will revolve around the question: how can we #cocreateSA? Key thought leaders and industry stakeholders will come together to generate solutions for shared challenges in the health, logistics, energy, agri-food and water sectors. - More information can be found on the website of the event.
Participation House of the Future Berenschot
During the House of the Future event, Berenschot will host two workshops:
1) Our Senior Manager Africa, Fons de Zeeuw, organizes the Going Out (doing business in Africa)- workshop about doing and expanding business on the African continent. The workshop will consist of an informal panel discussion and elaborates the possibilities of using South Africa as a steppingstone towards the African continent. Knowledge and experience of several guests and the audience will be combined to create an interesting, interactive session.
2) Our (former) senior healthcare consultant and medical doctor Adriaan Kraal, will host the workshop Fit for the Future about the healthcare sector. This workshop brings together South African and Dutch healthcare stakeholders and aims to identify specific technologies, systems or models that could be healthcare leapfrogs. Together with all participants we will explore what the ideal hospital looks like in terms of healthcare infrastructure; the clinical and back-office staff that run it; and the hospital’s position in the larger healthcare system. Be inspired, get in touch and work towards feasible healthcare leapfrogs.
Berenschot and International Healthcare
Berenschot has a specialized Healthcare International team. Our team provides high level strategic and policy advice and is sensitive to governance and stakeholder issues. We help governments and healthcare institutions to improve their organizational performance, while always keeping in mind their local implementation capacity. Our team helps companies by arranging finance and developing business cases for new and existing projects. On the other side, we realise (turn-key) hospital projects by combining process management skills with content and technical knowledge. We can help you with all phases of your project: from idea to becoming operational. An example of such a project is the Hospital Nobo Otrobanda- project in Curacao.
