Stronger primary healthcare system in Yogyakarta, Indonesia

Together with our partners, we are making the first steps towards improving primary healthcare for the 500,000 inhabitants of Kulon Progo – an underdeveloped urban district of Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

The study will identify all the health care solution components that can enhance Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and give people access to basic care.

The consortium, comprising of Royal HaskoningDHV, Berenschot, Royal Tropical Institute (KIT), Maastricht University, Simed International and BMA was formed through the Taskforce Healthcare. The project is supported by the Netherlands Embassy in Jakarta and by the regional Health Office, the Ministry of Health and KP-MAK the Indonesian Centre for Health Financing Policy and Health Insurance Management at Gadjah Mada University..
