Increase deployability
Support for the approach to absenteeism
Did you know that absenteeism in excess of just 4% among your personnel can be reason to take a critical look at your approach to absenteeism and assess what you can be doing better? Low absenteeism contributes to a good working environment, better results and lower costs. Especially in times of cost-cutting, an analysis of your sickness absence is an essential tool to increase the deployability of all your employees without increasing work pressure. Increasing this deployability is a responsibility shared by both your organisation and the employee.
Berenschot can apply a number of instruments to help you map out your personnel’s working capacity and work out what financial benefits and savings (in addition to the personal ones) can be achieved. With these instruments, you create the financial room to engage health programmes that increase labour capacity and deployability without investing more money than you are now.
Absenteeism policy scan (electronic)
Together with you, we will calculate the costs of your current savings. We can then determine the absenteeism goals you want to set and the potential savings they will make possible. We can also consult with you on selecting the providers that can best assist you and which are willing to make results commitments with you. The scan will also incorporate the options for eligibility for subsidies in the achievement of the goals.
Work Ability Index
Together with you, we can investigate the labour capacity of your personnel using the Work Ability Index (WAI), which is supported by labour foundation BlikopWerk. We do this at both the individual and group levels. We monitor the physical, psychological and social labour capacity of your employees. And based on the results, we can give you recommendations for improving your labour capacity, which will lead to increased deployability of your personnel.
Prevention scan
Together with you we can, if the absenteeism situation so dictates, conduct a scan of your organisation by interviewing personnel and supervisors about the potential causes of the level of or increase in absenteeism. Rather than using a standard consulting concept, we do this by working with you on drafting and completing a transparent and clear approach that can help your organisation further on occupational health issues.
