Mrs Lilian Gonçalves appointed as a member of Berenschot’s Supervisory Board

Mrs Lilian Gonçalves - Ho Kang You was appointed as a member of Berenschot’s Supervisory Board effective 6 May 2010. She succeeds Mr C. Griffioen R.A., who having reached his maximum term of office, has stepped down from his position on the Supervisory Board.

Mrs Gonçalves is an Extraordinary State Councillor. Her additional positions include:

Member of the Board of the Radboud Catholic University Foundation in Nijmegen;
Member of the Advisory Council on International Affairs in The Hague;
Member of the Advisory Council of ‘Giving Back’ in Amsterdam;
Member of the Advisory Council of the Institute of Social Studies in The Hague;
Member of the Board of the Royal Cabinet of Paintings, the Mauritshuis in The Hague;
Member of the Board of the International Executive Committee of Amnesty International in London;
Chair of the Prince Claus Fund in Amsterdam;
Member of the Supervisory Board of the Concertgebouw N.V. in Amsterdam;
Member of the Board of the De Nieuwe Kerk Foundation in Amsterdam;
Chairperson of the Suriname-Netherlands Legal Cooperation Foundation in Amsterdam;
Member of the Board of the Hans en Erik Foundation;
Member of the Netherlands State Commission on the Constitution.

Mrs Lilian Gonçalves - Ho Kang You

Mrs Lilian Gonçalves - Ho Kang You was born in Paramaribo, Suriname, on 11 November 1946.

She has been an Extraordinary State Councillor since 1 February 2009.

She studied law at Leiden University.
